Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: 1/6/2025

Welcome to www.ruqyah.org (the “Website”), operated by International Academy of Ruqyah, located at Petre House, Petre Street, Sheffield, United Kingdom, S4 8LJ.

By accessing this Website and/or booking any services offered herein, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Services Provided

International Academy of Ruqyah offers:

  • Ruqyah and Hijama Sessions: Appointments for spiritual healing based on the principles of Islamic Ruqyah and Hijama.

  • Educational Services: Courses, classes, and learning resources related to Ruqyah practice.

These services are available through pre-booked appointments via the Website.

2. Booking and Payment

Appointments can be booked via the Website using our integrated calendar and booking system.

Payment Options:

  • Online: Payments can be made securely via Stripe.

  • In-Person: Payment can be made in cash during the ruqyah session.

Full payment is required at the time of booking for online payments. For cash payments, we reserve the right to request a deposit or pre-confirmation.

3. Refund Policy

We understand that sometimes appointments need to be cancelled or rescheduled. Our refund policy is as follows:

  • 80% Refund if cancellation is requested 7 or more days before the scheduled session.

  • 50% Refund if cancellation is requested between 3 to 7 days before the scheduled session.

  • No Refund if cancellation is requested less than 3 days before the scheduled session.

Why We Don’t Offer Full Refunds:
When you book a time slot, it becomes unavailable to other clients. Last-minute cancellations often mean we are unable to fill that slot, resulting in lost time and income. This policy helps ensure fairness and sustainability of our service.

To request a refund, please email: hello@ruqyah.org with your full name, appointment details, and reason for cancellation.

4. Rescheduling Policy

You may request to reschedule your appointment up to 48 hours before the scheduled session, subject to availability. Requests made within 48 hours of the appointment may not be accommodated.

5. Disclaimer

Our Ruqyah services are spiritual in nature and based on Islamic traditions. They are not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric treatment. If you have a medical condition, you are advised to consult a licensed healthcare provider.

International Academy of Ruqyah does not guarantee specific outcomes from any session. Results may vary depending on individual circumstances.

6. Code of Conduct

We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual who engages in:

  • Abusive, disrespectful, or disruptive behaviour.

  • Actions that contradict Islamic ethics or UK law.

  • Attempted misuse of our services.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, International Academy of Ruqyah shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of our services. Our liability for any direct damages shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific session or service.

8. Privacy Policy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which can be accessed on the Website. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as outlined in that policy.
